HUMILITY THE MASTER KEY TO SUCCESS

To climb the ladder of success and remain there is not automatic but comes with certain doings, attitudes and values you need to display, all things being equal.

Humility is the major key to every meaningful success. Speak about every successful person and I will tell you that he or she served, was groomed, nurtured, educated, modelled, supported to attain that fit. The enlisted terms that associates itself to success means that success is not automated but rather comes as a result of an orchestration of one or group of individuals to make or transform another to such. This means that no single individual can make it without gaining some form of support either from parents, guardian, friends, relatives, strangers, institution, through the environment, through God etc... Whatever be the case success is through one object to another. This is the main reason why everyone that aspires to reach the heights of greatness must learn the virtues of humility. 

As the bible rightly puts it, he that wishes to be master of all has to be servant of all. Meaning he that wishes to attain greater heights must learn to render a service and no effective service can be rendered without the virtue of humility. As the bible puts it, he resist the proud and give grace to the humble which means exaltation comes as a result of soliciting support or help from your fellow man, strangers or colleagues. And this is possibly all through the act of humility. This are the basic principles of living.

Defects of humility....

Sometimes, life itself is shrouded in a lot of mysteries. You might never get what you bargained for. In other words, if wishes were horses beggars would ride. So much so, people would have wished to emerge from royal and wealthy family or parents or countries but it seems life itself does not give us a level playing ground. For that matter, there is a need of others to lean or depend on other to get there. Life as said is so much shrouded in contingencies to the extent that you may not be able to predict what might happen to a fellow in the next moment. In as much as we have a role to play in arriving at our goals, we must factor in possibilities of misfortune or unfortunate precedences such as death of a bread winner, accident or disaster, wars, scam, hard luck, demonic orchaestrations etc... Whatever be it the case that may happen to you, the initial start point of a life of success is HUMILITY. 

Humility births patience, respect for others, obedience, comportment and learning, the necessary ingredients for a successful living. In as much as some of our actions may be responsible for our current predicament, it's a known fact that none ever deliberately plotted his/her downfall or defeat. It's all part of life experiences and to be a great leader means you pass through thick and thins to gains all life experiences, wisdom, knowledge and knowhow necessary to resist another potential fall or defeat. Many successful men today had to come into terms with defeat yet they never permitted their current predicament to weight them down. 

So therefore never look on anothers' predicament with resentment knowing that tables do turn and situations do change. Rich men may become poor men and poor men may become rich men, it's a bitter truth. Some make it at age 11, others age 20, others at 30, others at 40 whiles others at 50 years. Whiles some may not make it at all, what is important is life, once you have a life you are hopeful that you utilize opportunity that come for way wisely.

Apart from being humble, you also need to be wise and smart to notice and pick up chances when they come knocking at your door. Each day and night doors of opportunity opens and it only takes those that are ready to pick up those chances. 

In all of these, note that no matter how wise and smart you are; "you will by all means (a necessary ingredient) need to be humble to receive from the king". Your blessings and doors always lies in the hands of another and it takes humility to gain favor from your source of blessings. Don't look upon anyone with disdain, disrespect because of his situation because the table could change. Respect all, love all, appreciate all because you will never know; your helper might just be beside you or a mile away; it will take a humble heart to meet and engage with him/her so you don't miss your brighter opportunity to the kingdom of success.
