SUSPENSION OF STRIKE ACTION BY UTAG WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

 The National Executive Committee of UTAG wishes to inform it's teaming members that due to the MoU agreed on together with representatives of the government and a subsequent withdrawal of the law suit by NLC, the council wishes to inform it's members to go back to their duty post as they hope that government follow suit the road map to address issues pertaining their conditions of service. This directive was issued in a statement released by the National secretariat of UTAG and gracefully authenticated by National president, Prof. Charles Marfo and the National secretary, Dr. Eric K.K Abavare to All UTAG members of which the Arena of Wisdom blog wishes to share with you. Below is a copy of such statement for your perusal released few moments ago.

This however presuppose that academic works begin in its all full fledge come Monday, 23rd August, 2021 unabated.

On Moday, 4th of August, 2021 the National Executive Council of UTAG announced an indefinite industrial action to press home what they call, better conditions of service. Since then there have been series of meetings and negotiations to get them back to the classroom to no avail. Graciously it has to take his able excellency, Dr. Bawumia and the education minister as stated by their general secretary in a lengthy Facebook post to bring a temporal end to the impasse.
